Health-Related Fitness Components
Being physically fit encompasses body appearance, flexibility, muscle strength, muscular endurance, and cardiorespiratory endurance. The CDC recommends adults do at least 150 minutes of moderate-intensity aerobic activity, accompanied by muscle-strengthening activities throughout a week for the best results. The American College of Sports Medicine suggests 150-250 minutes of moderate-intensity physical activity per week to maintain weight and over 250 minutes for weight loss.
